Aparthotel Szum was designed among pine trees, on the main promenade of the seaside town of Pobierowo in Poland. On the side of Grunwaldzka Street, the building will house commercial and service premises accessible from the street, intended for recreational and tourist purposes, as well as catering establishments. The remaining premises will serve as residential units and have been designed so that each one has a spacious terrace, loggia or garden opening onto all four sides of the world, full of attractive greenery, blue skies and clean sea air. To ensure privacy for holidaymakers, the layout of the buildings has been designed in a staggered manner to give the impression that the complex ‘blends’ into the north, towards the intimate buildings and the sea. The massive structure enclosing the frontage of Grunwaldzka Street acts as a barrier to view from the busy thoroughfare and ensures the peaceful, holiday and recreational character of the complex on the inner wooded patio and between the urban green areas. The interiors of the residential units and their balconies and terraces will be filled with natural light and views of the natural vegetation on the picturesque plot and neighbouring areas. The building is founded on a shared underground car park.
